지난해 4·4분기 사이버 쇼핑몰의 매출액이 3·4분기에 비해 대폭 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 온라인과 오프라인을 병행하는 전자상거래업체가 늘어나고 있다.
통계청이 5일 발표한 「2000년 4·4분기 전자상거래 통계조사 결과」자료에 따르면 작년 4·4분기 사이버 쇼핑몰 사업체수는 1866개로 3분기보다 1.9% 성장하는 데 그쳤으나 매출액은 6657억원으로 전분기 4764억원에 비해 39.7% 급증했다.
이에 따라 전체 소매업 판매액 가운데 전자상거래 매출액이 차지하는 비중도 1.1%에서 1.5%로 늘었다.
특히 B2C 전자상거래를 통한 매출액은 전체의 75%를 차지할 정도로 비중이 높아졌으며 매출액도 3분기 3561억원에서 5043억원으로 41.6%나 급성장했다.
조직형태별 사업체수는 법인 사업체가 51.1%에서 52.6%로 다소 높아진 반면 개인 사업체는 47.7%에서 46%로 낮아졌다.
사이버몰 분류별로는 전문몰이 1589개로 전체의 85.2%를 차지했고 종합몰은 14.8%에 불과했다.
운영 형태별로 보면 지난해 4분기 온라인과 오프라인을 병행, 영업하는 전자상거래업체는 1284개로 3분기의 1226개보다 58개(4.7%) 늘었고 전체 전자상거래업체에서 차지하는 비중도 66.9%에서 68.8%로 증가했다.
매출액도 3분기 2517억3600만원에서 4분기 3634억8400만원으로 44.4% 증가했다.
반면 온라인으로만 영업하는 업체는 606개에서 582개로 24개(4.0%) 줄었고 비중은 33.1%에서 31.2%로 감소했다.
온라인 전업 업체의 매출액은 2246억4300만원에서 3021억7400만원으로 34.5% 증가에 그쳤다.
상품군별로는 컴퓨터 및 주변기기 등의 제품 비중이 38.5%에서 29.9%로 감소한 반면 가전·전자·통신기기는 14.9%에서 17.3%로, 생활용품 및 자동차용품은 5.8%에서 7.1%로 증가, 전 품목에서 고른 성장세를 보였다.
지불결제 수단으로는 신용카드가 64.5%로 선호도가 가장 높았으며 전자화폐 사용률도 3분기 0.6%에서 1.0%로 미미하지만 다소 증가 추세를 보였다.
